The head-to-head Wordle you remember
WordleOff made Wordle a two player game: share a link, guess the same word at the same time, and see who gets there first. Wordle VS plays the same way. Make a room, send the invite link, and when your friend joins, the host starts the game. Green means the right letter in the right spot, yellow means it's somewhere else in the word, and the first to turn all five tiles green takes the round.
You can see how many guesses your opponent has used and how many letters they've found as they play, but never their letters, so there's no copying.
What Wordle VS adds
- Up to 4 players: play a 1v1 or a four-way free-for-all in the same room.
- Best of 3, or 10: the host picks 1 to 10 rounds and a timer of 30 seconds to 5 minutes per word. Whoever wins the most rounds wins the game.
- Quick Match: no friend online? Quick Match finds you a 1v1 opponent for a 3-round match, and you can queue again in one tap.
- Co-op mode: rather work together? Play Wordle together on one shared board and take turns guessing.
- Stats and a leaderboard: play as a guest, or make a free account to keep your wins across devices.
- Made for phones: it fits small screens, holds your seat if your connection drops, and you can add it to your home screen like an app.
